Baking Courses 

ONE DAY IMMERSIVE COURSE OF SOURDOUGH FOR THE HOME BAKER FEB 7TH, 8TH and 14th £150 (£50 deposit on booking).

With Sarah’s experience of many years baking sourdough for her family and in her business she will share her knowledge on this one day course. A course for the home baker for everyday loaves. Learning to bake using your home oven.

£150 per day. £50 non returnable deposit on booking. Remaining £100 payable on the day.

Held at her home in Compton, South Devon, near Totnes.

We will make an everyday Sourdough loaf, Rye Bread, Ciabatta and Focaccia.

The day will include a delicious seasonal lunch.

Arriving at 9.30 for a 9.50 start the day will finish at 3.30-4.00. You will take home all of the bakes you made that day. Only 4 people per day.

 

ONE DAY IMMERSIVE CHRISTMAS BAKING COURSE November 22nd or 23rd £150.00/PERSON

A one day course focused on Baking for Christmas with Sarah Raisbeck, author of Natural Sweet Bakes.

£50 Non Returnable Deposit on Booking. Remaining £100 to be paid on the day.

Held at her home in Compton, South Devon, near Totnes.

On the day you will learn how to make some beautiful bakes to impress your family and friends over the Christmas period. A Christmas pudding, Sourdough Focaccia, Rye Bread a Festive Tart and Truffles using natural ingredients and unrefined sugars.

We will begin the day with making the focaccia, rye bread and pudding. We will break for a late morning brunch to enjoy together finishing with our tarts and truffles. Baking the bread at the end of the day.

Please note this is not all plant based, do let me know if this is what you require.

Arrive for 9.30 to begin at 9.50. Finish 3.30-3.45. Only 4 people per course.

TWO DAY IMMERSIVE PLANT BASED SWEET BAKES COURSE JANUARY 24TH & 25TH £225/PERSON

A two day course focused on baking plant based sweet treats with Sarah Raisbeck, author of Natural Sweet Bakes.

£75 Non Returnable Deposit on Booking. Remaining £150 to be paid on the day.

Held at her home in Compton, South Devon, near Totnes.

Over the two days you will learn how to make a seasonal biscuit, energised bar, baked sponge cake and raw cake using natural ingredients, unrefined sugars.

Before the course starts you will be given a choice of which raw and baked cake you would like to make.

Day One will involve the creation of your treats and Day Two will involve finishing and decorating them.

We will share a plant based feast for lunch on Thursday made by Sarah.

On Thursday you will make a delicious breakfast for Friday which will be a time to ask more questions and talk about how to finish your creations using seasonal fruit and flowers.

Thursday 10-4 and Friday 9.30-12.30. Only four people per course.
